Creating Follow-Up Emails That Sell

There are generally 3 types of follow-up emails
- informational email (providing quality knowledge on how-to)
- personal email (to share with the reader your personal life stories and getting a point across)
- combination email (a combination of the both mentioned)

To begin with, create 7 emails that promotes your product. The first few emails aims to provide quality information, and the more email you sent, you start to incorporate your personal stories into it. Giving the emails a personal touch is important as it lets the readers understand you better.

Important tips when writing your article

1) remember to format your email (paragraphing and spacing

Proper paragraphing and spacing makes the article easy to read. Check on your spelling as well and click on the preview icon to have a good idea if it's easy to read the article you wrote.

2) send out your emails everyday you are dealing in a competitive market

As suggested above, create 3-7 emails for every product you wish to promote.

3) avoid legalities trouble

Ensure that you provide a unsubscribe link at the bottom of your email, otherwise it will considered as spam. Also be careful with when you get the list. The best way to source for prospects is through your created webpage. This ensures quality customers, who knows what they are looking for. You should provide whitelisting. so that your emails will not appear in junk folder. Whitelisting is a process that the subscriber 'verifies' your emails to be safe.

4) provide links to your sales page a couple of time. Slot it in at the beginning, in the middle and at the end.

In this way. at any point of time the reader is curious, they can click on the link straight away.

5) get the best autoresponder service

Your autoresponder is your greatest asset. Invest in a good autoresponder and safeguard it. Do not tell others what is the password to your account!
